<p>This is to inform you of the 2012 AUSKF and SCKO membership.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<ol>
<li>2012 annual membership fee (Jan. 1 &#8211; Dec. 31, 2012)</li>
</ol>
<p>Age Group               AUSKF + SCKO = Total Dues</p>
<p>Adult (18 &amp; over)     $40   +  $35  =  $75</p>
<p>Youth (17 &amp; under)             $25   +  $20  =  $45</p>

<p>Members shall pay dues according to their age as of 1/1/2012 for all paid registrations by 2/29/2012. All submissions after 3/15/2012 will pay dues based on age of the registration date.</p>

<p>3. Payment:</p>
<p>Only accept Check (no Cash) and make payable to &#8220;SCKO&#8221;. Each Dojo must collect all fees from individuals and submit one Dojo check to SCKO by 2/29/2012. SCKO will NOT accept checks from individuals.</p>

       Submit photocopy of existing rank certificate if taken at another Federation.<br />

All rank bring own Kendo-gu, neatness Keiko-gi and Hakama, Shinai.<br />
3 Kyu and up bring Bokuto for take an exam of “Bokuto keiko hou” (Training<br />
Method for fundamental kendo techniques with Bokuto) and kendo kata.<br />
1 Kyu and up bring completed Written Test Questionnaire.</p>

1 Kyu, 1 Dan, 2 Dan, 3 Dan and 4 Dan<br />

7． Volunteers required:</p>
<p>(*1) All 1kyu and 1Dan through 4Dan taking exam must complete the attached written test prior to the exam date.<br />
They must submit this on the day of the exam. Written test is last stages of your examination.<br />
(*2) Enclosed is only one copy of each Rank test. Therefore, please make additional copies of the written test and<br />
distribute to examination applicants.<br />
(*3) Examinees, which successfully pass all stages of the rank exam, MUST pay Certificate (Menjo) fee at the day of<br />
the exam , after the results are announced. Without order certificate, the passed rank will annul.<br />
(*4) AUSKF issue Only English certificate.</p>

• Competitors in the following divisions must be a registered AUSKF member in<br />
good standing for three (3) years prior to the date of the 2011 AUSKF National<br />
Championships:<br />

ii.Women’s Individual<br />
iii. Men’s Team<br />
iv. Women’s Team<br />
• The individual championships (except for the Senior and Mudansha Divisions) will<br />
utilize a “double-elimination” seeding format in which each player participates in<br />
an initial “seeding” round to determine their placement (either first or second) in the<br />
championship round. In the event there is an odd number of participants, a random<br />
participant shall be automatically placed in the seeding round.<br />

Championships to come.</p>

<p>We are pleased to announce that the FIK Referee Seminar for the American Zone will be held<br />
in March 2011 in Chicago Illinois. We appreciate the All United States Kendo Federation<br />
(AUSKF) for their dedication to make this event a success. You are cordially requested to<br />
recommend applicants from your organization by using the attached application sheet. We<br />
would like you to return the application sheet by February 4, 2011 (Fri.) to kurose@kendo.or.jp<br />
and yazawa@kendo.or.jp. The details of the seminar are as follows.</p>

・A member of the FIK affiliated organization in principle.<br />
・Kendo 5-Dan or above in principle and to be engaged in regular Kendo practice (4-Dan<br />
holders are accepted as well if he/she desires.)<br />
・No age limitation<br />
・5 or more participants from one FIK affiliated organization are preferable.<br />
・The candidates for the WKC referees are requested to participate in this seminar.<br />
・The attached application sheet covers up to 12 applicants, but this does not mean<br />
limit. Please duplicate and use it more than 12.<br />
* Applicants are requested not to be absent other than unavoidable reasons.<br />
* Please take Referee Uniform</p>
<p>7. Expenses:<br />
The participants bear their expenses for travel, transportation, accommodations and<br />
